    Cosy property for sale (co-ownership)

    Hi,

We own (in co-ownership) 2 weeks in December a pre-manufactured home in Orlando
Due to the crisis we simply can't afford it anymore...
The other Co-Owners are all British... Willing to sell for GBP 1500,- for those 2 weeks...

Extra costs in the co-ownership are only GBP 300,- a year. That's it...
There are really no further costs, everything is included in the GBP 300,- above

It's a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, ideal for young couples (with or without children)
Use of 3 community pools and other amminities...
Location is Vista Del Lago, and the bungalow is in a great state end well kept.

The weeks 51 and 52 (from 15 December to 29 December) (arrival/departure dates are always on thursdays as flghts are cheaper those days)so dates may vary year by year (1 date + or 1 date -)

Remark* This is absolutely NOT timeshare, but real co-ownership.

Every year we hold a shareholders meeting in the UK, and have lot's of fun... we're really a jolly group...

    C'mon guys... it's only 750,- a week...

First of all Time share is only for max 20 years.
We have real shares in this home... (it's really ours, we own it)
These weeks are ours for ever and will never disapear, of course we are allowed to sell our weeks.
No other owner is allowed to stay in my weeks (unless I grand him access)
We pay annual GBP 150,- for each week per share to cover the costs and even leaves some money in the bank.
Every year we visit the annual shareholders meeting...
Where we discuss and decide what will be happening the next year...
We really decide by voting about everything concering the house...
In Time Sharing as you might know everything is already decided by a board of directors...

BTW... We also own 2 weeks in July which are for sale as well... (same price)

I have a timeshare in Orlando and can tell you it is NOT for a max of 20 years. It is mine for ever and I can pass it on to family or whoever. Only way for me to get out of it, is to sell it. [msnsmile]

Sell it - or - sadly - Jingle Mail

To be honest this offer IS a timeshare but without a huge evil corporation behind it - which is good.

On the other hand you have to use those exact weeks in that house, can't trade them with RCI or similar like you can regular timeshare.

What am I saying here??? I don't think regular timeshare is a good investment, actually I don't think its an investment at all................just money down the drain with a huge commission to the salesperson and huge ongoing costs.

On the other hand those timeshare owners have probably lost less than all us Fl homeowners............ I know I'm at least $100k down right now and its not getting any better.

im confused on that one. So do the owner make any profit or money on this house. Because with 10 owners, 2 wks each per year, makes that 20 wks so do ya'll rent it out, like a privately rented place and then spread out the profits or what.

Jeez... some of us own much more week...
What owner... what profit... It is NOT timeshare..
We are 10 owners... and we DON'T make any profit...

If that's confusing to you, that's not my problem... [msnsmile2]
I know what I'm offering... No fiddle, no Fuzz...

You make it sound like I'm not to be trusted...
This topic is for items for sale, I don't want to be critized on things that are simply not true...
Can't help that you can't sell your stuff...

So if there's more, please reply by PM... not through this forum.

    Pretty straightforward question i thought.

As someone who WAS interested in the offering, i too wanted to know the ins and outs of the deal and part of that was:

What happens in the spare weeks
Can the weeks be swapped with other owners
    Who are the other owners
    Is there a rental income
    Who pays the insurance
    Who pays for maintenance
Who pays the pool and bug man
    Who pays for repairs
    etc etc etc....

    Best of luck but....i'm out.
