US Car Hire Silver hire. Alamo took another $90 !

Yes, you need the reservation number from your voucher in order to do this.

I have just booked a 24 hour car hire to get us from the airport to the villa. I discovered that with Alamo the Silver option was £26 and after reading the forum realised that I would be charged for a full tank of petrol which we would never use, but the Gold option was only £29 and the tank of petrol was included, guess which option I chose? Seems daft to me, surely it would be better to allow people the option of bringing the car back full and not charge for the petrol?
