There will be no mention of girl groups except the duo going on this trip, myself and my sister, Helen ( I use the term "girls" loosely you understand )and sorry, no mention of Cheryl Cole et al!![msnsad][msnwink]
This is simply a girls only trip, an annual event for myself and my sister, plus others some years but not this time[msnsad]
Ostensibly it is supposed to be our annual spring cleaning jaunt, but as between us, we visit half a dozen times a year we try to keep on top of things and whilst, as any villa owner knows, there are always jobs to be done, they do say that all work and no play....just don't tell our men folk, they might put a stop to it!!
This trip report may be boring for some as there will probably be few, if any, theme park adventures, just lots of shopping, good meals an possibly the odd book review if there is any time to lie by the pool[msnwink]
So, here I am. 7.50 this morning saw me having already done my supermarket shop before work, stocking up on ready meals for one and the basic essentials for my hubby this weekend!
I have packed what few things I need to take, most of my clothes and toiletries are already there, I just need a few lighter tops as the weather will be much warmer than our usual Feb and Nov visits[msncool]
The car is full of petrol ready for my trip to Gatwick I have checked in online, I have kissed and cuddled my grand daughter hopefully enough to last the 12 days I am away and sky+ is set to record the programmes I don't want to miss[msnembarrased].
One of the great things about travelling alone is I don't have to do the last minute rush, Hubby never leaves any time for the unexpected and we have had a few close shaves in the past[msneek]. Travelling alone, if I want to be there early I can[msnsmile] So I guess it's time I put the light out and tried to get a few hours sleep[msnsmile]
