well.... we got to gatwick nice and early as we always like to get things sorted well in advance then sit n relax....
boarded the plane ontime for 11.15 take off or thereabouts....
had a great flights... kids were irritable and so was some of the mummys... so long without ciggies... and grouchie kids dont mix well....
we got into orlando an hour ealier then expected, brilliant!!! then it all went pear shape... cos of my knee and arthtritis in most areas i get special assistance... at gatwick straight forward on the little cart... over here i was spoken to just prior to getting off saying keep my whole family last as we would go through a special gate for us... so we waited until last.... in the end Steve took me through in a wheelchair.. so embarressing... all went to the gate concerned then an officer demanded my family joined the back of the queue and could not come through with steve and myself.... that was the most maddening thing ever!!! the babies aged 2 just under and needing nappy changes etc were so miserable...... took steve and i just 5 minutes.... then waited with all our luggage and then waited for the rest for the next 2 1/2 hours!!!! absolutely appalling!!!!!!!!!
John who has his visa was originally told by so many he didnt have to fill in the green card... was sent back to fill in one!! so beware those who dont think they need this... do it anyway!!!
finally through here almost 7pm... then onto carhire which has always run like clockwork here..... 2 hours later we got the toyota vehicle... went to leave car park but were told we had the wrong car!!!!!!! grrrr we had a paper that looked just like G28 even the fella who helped with the luggage said thats what it said!!!
no it shouldve read C28.....
anyways we finally got to the villa at 9.30pm.... so exhausted..... then off to walmart for supplies!!!
villas both great but thats what we come to expect at TV.... have to come back grandaughter had an accident!!
