SMALL TORNADO

We were sat in the car today on a car park coming out of Southport over looking across to Blackpool were you could see the sea in the distance and we saw a small tornado come down from the sky and go towards Blackpool it was only a small one but could imagine larger ones in the heat of summer .
We had no camera so could not snap it shame .

What a pity - bet it was quite a sight but much better it touch down over the sea, providing there was no shipping in its path than over land where it could have caused more damage.
