New Dates for last Shuttle mission

A problem with the payload on the July 29th shuttle launch has caused this mission to be delayed.

The $2 billion AMS experiment needs to have its magnets changed and this means that it will not arrive at KSC until August. Fit out and load times means that it will go past the current last shuttle launch date, Sept 16th, which will still go on time.

NASA are now looking at planning around other events and are currently looking at November as the earliest date possible.

This also gives all the KSC shuttle workers at least another month work before the program runs down.

We were hoping that the launch scheduled for the 28th July would be delayed for a few days, as we don't arrive in Florida until the 3rd August. Is there a link that I can check an up to date launch calendar?

    Thanks

Would be great if there was one in November.
