We were lucky and got out on Thursday with Virgin for our three week vacation.

We at the moment are very frustrated and any tips would be appreciated.

On arrival we picked up a Ford Mustang convertible as per booking with Budget unfortunately it developed an oil problem yesterday on our way back from Panama City, we are now in Clearwater beach. I have to say this year we had not booked our car with this site as it was a package we booked. Last night the saga started, my husband phoned Budget to resolve the issue, after numberous calls getting nowhere and after three hours he got an assurance the car would be replaced this morning. This morning we had a call and they did not want to bring a car to us, they did agree but said that they did not have a Mustang but we agreed to accept a Sebring, this was delivered at lunchtime. We are only here for one day so that was a waste of a morning for us. We now find that the Sebring is not big enough for our luggage, we spoke to a Budget representative at Clearwater airport who said to contact Budget and get it swapped back to a Mustang, but we leave for Naples in the morning.

This might be achievable if we could get someone a Budget who could help us, again we have been passed from pillar to post and are no further forward, my husband was left hanging on the phone for over 15 mins last night, tonight he left a message on a managers phone and once again he has not phoned us back.

As we are touring around it is not ideal to have the back seat piled up with cases, how can we get through to someone at Budget?

Anyone any ideas.
