Can anyone recomend some good eateries in this area. Other than the usual chains is there an equivelent to Mannys Chop House.

Sorry cannot really help, the usual chain restaurants, but I am sure being on an island you should find some good fish restaurants. I know in Naples there are good ones down in the Tin City area, thats if you enjoy fish.

Try the Snook Inn where you can watch the dolphins and pelicans if you eat outside. Great salad bar. http://www.snookinn.com/

also The Old Marco Pub & Restaurant and The Sand Bar. We had a lunch at the Sand Bar, unpretentious food busy with locals, best grouper ever, beautifully cooked.
