Book shops on or near 192 West

Hi - as a result of the current return flight delays, both my teenage daughters have run out of books to read: so where is the best, reasonably close bookshop? When they asked, I realised that I couldn't remember seeing a book shop anywhere on the 192!

There is a very small selection at the local supermarket, but all are adult books, not really for 12-14 year olds - I suspect we need to find a proper book shop. We're near the 5 mile marker on the 192, just off Formosa Gardens Blvd.

    thanks!

There's one... Waldenbooks at Dyer Square.

But the very best bookstore is Barnes and Noble on OBT almost opposite the entrance to Florida Mall and smack dab next door to Best Buy. It's huge, has a vast collection of interesting books, squashy chairs for sitting and reading, loos and... wait for it... cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory! It's like a reader's paradise on earth. You could probably (very safely) leave your girls there for hours!

Carry on west and turn south on us27 until junction with I4. Posner park has a books a million - a large store and with some bargain books aswell.

There's also a bookstore in the Florida Mall (may be Walden Books?) outside one of the 3 dept stores, either Penney, Sears or Dillards which had a great selection of teenage books.

Walmart don't have a huge selection but do have some.

I normally park near to JC Penney and the bookstore is outside there. We were looking for magnetic bookmarks and tried in there and the card shop opposite.

Thanks to all for your advice - as wife (and kids) wanted to go shopping anyway, I took them to Florida Mall. I whisked middle daughter off to Barnes & Noble and sampled the cheesecake (for the first time) while she wandered through the very large selection of teen books - brilliant. We also went to the Walden Books just by JC Penney, where eldest daughter bought a couple more.

In fact, the book shopping was more successful than the clothes shopping - which is the way round favoured by my bank manager[msnsmile]
