Yes you do and you need an address. If you don't have the villa address because you've booked allocation on arrival, then you could use the tour operator's local address.

If it's too early to get the villa address from your owner, then you could ask them for their management company's address which works just as well.

They'll make you fill in one on the plane as well or at the airport when you get there( they ran out of them on the plane last week) We had already done the APIS but they said we had to fill out again- they said that immigration were running the online thing at the same time as still having to fill in cards but at some time in the future they would do away with having to do them on the plane etc.

NO You are not staying in the US, you are coming home again!!
PUt yourself down as a fly drive- a lot simpler.

Yes I agree..we also choose the fly drive option even though we are staying in our villa. I assume the same as Susan and that 'staying in the US' means not on a return flight.

Interestingly that question is not actually part of APIS, although I know some (but not all) carriers do ask it. I always read this question as "Are you staying in the USA (or transiting through the USA to a different final destination?)"

If you answer 'Yes' (ie staying in USA) I assume they ask you for the address at which you are staying (which is part of APIS). If you answer 'No' (ie transiting) they should ask for your final destination airport.

Most of the carriers I use seem not to ask this question, but when they do I always answer 'Yes'
