    It wouldn't bother me at all, but even if i convinced her they were teethless and tame i don't think she would go for it. I'll just have to suggest it.....

    Craig, I was just looking at the movies on the Discovery Cove website, the shark "meeting".... looks to me as though the sharks are behind glass in a seperate tank.

    The dolphin encounter is in a seperate cove. There is no reason to be near the sharks at all.
    It is a wonderful day. My family went about 3 years ago when it first opened and we had 4 swim with dolphins and 4 using all facilities other than the dolphin encounter.
    Our verdict was expensive but worth it for a special occasion. Special memories

    Can anybody tell me, how long do you get with the Dolphins after the helpers tell you all the do's and don'ts?

    You get about 20-30 minutes I guess but there are up to 8 in the group per dolphin so some of the swim is watching others interact with them. You are still in the water and close to the dolphin so that didn't bother me
