    3rd Trip Report

    [u]Monday 5th</u>

Went to Magic Kingdom- its was really busy, the queues for everything were horrendous, we did Splash Mountain first and all got thoroughly soaked- which we all enjoyed. Had a fast pass for thunder mountain but my little one decided she didn't fancy it so we had a wander round and did a couple of kiddie rides - lunch and then 5 mins before her makeover told her all about it. She was so suprised and thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing. We got some fab photos- which I would post if I could figure it out!!
Queued up and she got to meet Belle, Aurora and Cinderella-which she loved. Everyone was bowing for her etc which was lovely but contrary miss that she is was quite grumpy about everyone saying Hi to her.
Took part in a stage show thing at tomorrowland- Lucy wanted to dance so of course I had to go with her- embarrassing!(I have no rythm)
We didn't stay late and will go back for the fireworks etc on Sat night. Maybe she'll be in a better mood by then!!

    [u]
    Tuesday 6th
    </u>

Had a relaxing morning, its becoming clear that my daughter would rather stay home and play in the pool- she's not overly impressed with the parks.
But I dragged her and my husband off to Premium Outlets and got a few bits and bobs( Nice paid of UGGS- so cheap compared to at home!)
Stopped at Publix on the way home and got some lovely chicken for teaand then I decided to have a go at driving and drove us home- OK so its only 2 miles but at least I had go.
Much prefer Publix to Malmart- will not be visiting Walmart again!!

    [u]Wednesday 7th</u>

Got up early and headed to Hollywood Studios for it opening- headed straight for Tower of Terror and as Lucy had chickened out I went on first (my husband did it at Paris so wasn't too bothered if he did it again)
I think I am still hoarse from screaming!!
He decided to have a go as well and then we did Rock n Rollercoaster.
Wow I loved it- but it was way too short. I smiled all the way round- loved having Aerosmith in my ears as I was going round.
We then caught HSM - Lucy's fav- so that put a smile on her face.
Caught Indian Jones stunt show and did a few other things- all in all my fav day so far.
This is def my fav disney park.

    [u]Thursday 8th</u>

Went to Aquatica- really bad traffic getting there.
Again queues were really long for all the slides, Lucy seems to have taken fright for anything that envolves a tunnel so we mostly stayed in the wave pools, rapids and kids play thing.
I am not a water fan so I mostly sat on a lounger and prayed I wouldn't get prickly heat!!
Thought it was a nice park and if we had two kids aged about 10 we could have a had a really relaxing day, but as it goes our least fav day so far.
Also thought that $10 doallrs locker rental is OTT!! Maybe we're just scroogy Scots!

Heading for Kennedy tomorrow- so an early start and I plan to stop off at a store i found on Int Dr called Sheplers- to get myself a pair of cowboy boots on the way home.

If you got to the end of this -well done- or good job as they say here-LOL!!

Hey Lynn, we were at Aquatica today too! We only got there about 2.30, so didn't suffer the traffic that you did. Mrs Dads_Taxi is also a non-lover of the water, and susceptible to prickly heat too. She sat guard over our bags on a sunbed under a brolly - we were very impressed by the quantity of brollies.

Do you know which shop you bought your UGGs from? Last year I was dragged round every mall in Orlando looking for cheap UGGs, ended up ordering them from Glasgow to be delivered as we arrived home so the girls could pretend they'd bought them here!

Enjoy KSC tomorrow, have you been watching NASA TV to get in the mood?!! We've had it on all evening, my eldest daughter Lydia has been fascinated by the Shuttle mission. I know a LOT more about it now than ever before!

    Enjoy your Hols.
    Dave.

Got the Uggs from a shoe shop called Journeys at Premium Outlets. They were $130 odd. I got a choclate pair that zip up- never seen zip uo ones before- the girl said they were new.

Crawford got up to watch the shuttle launch the other morning, he has some pics of the plume of smoke and he's been watching all the stuff on telly too. I think there a book signing by one of the astronouts today so he's hoping to do that.

Shame we missed each other at Aquatica!

Looking forward to your next report..

Yeah its was the Bibati Bobabati boutique in the castle, we got the "Castle Package"- you get the whole shebang for that- outfit-including shoes tiara and wand, hair makeup and nails plus photos taken straight after in a little studio. It works out at $202. They also take photos all the way through the makeover that you can put on your disney photo pass- or if you don't want to do that you can take your own. I also saw other poeple come in with their own outfits and just get hair done etc- so you can do it cheaper.

She will love it and once your finished head to Toon Town Hall of Fame and the princess's are there all day, but i think they are only on certain days, we went on a Monday and they were there all day Monday,(plus a couple of other days), and then on other days there are other characters- I can't find my Disney timetable but will be back tomorrow and will pick another up and let you know- although the timetables are date specific so it may change.
