Bit of a trek, but we arrived at the villa at 9.30pm.
Flight was half hour late taking off from Glasgow and then we had a 35 min wait on the plane at MCO, mostly because immigration was too busy.
We waited about an hour to get through immimgration then got our bags straight away.
Then it was over to car hire and waited an hour for our car at Alamo- the queues were awful.
Got across to the multi and grabbed one of the first cars we saw as were totally fed up and my 5 year old was dead on her feet.
Got a Mazda 3 with about 30K on the clock so not new but seems fine.
We then got totally lost and had to make several back pedals to get on the right road.
But hey here now - its 11pm and Crawford my husband has been to Publix and got a few essentials to see us through till tomorrow- a bottle of red wine was his first priority I think!!
I've done a bit of unpacking and Lucy is firmly ensconced in our King bed.
Pleased with our villa so far but the patio alarm is already driving us mad- I suppose we'll get used to it. it made poor Lucy cry when we arrived -wee soul she ran back out the front of the villa (LOL!!)
Anyway away for a good sleep and looking forward to seeing Florida in daylight tomorrow.
