flights, october and over xmas

maybe its me but are the flights mu8ch more expensive? looked at october over halloween and over xmas, looking at between £700 and 925

Yes, flights are getting pretty expensive, particularly at Christmas as Virgin had re-classified some of their early December flights so they are now in a more expensive band - they have obviously sussed out that people were going a couple of days early and saving a lot of money!

However, I have recently found flights for early October with Virgin for under £500 which I think is good, so there are still some reasonably priced flights available if you can go at that time.

American have a sale at the moment. London-Orlando with 1 stop from 1 September to October 31 for £419. the sale started yesterday so the best dates won't be there soon - be quick.
