Question re: 12 and 15 seater mini vans

Is the 15 seater mini van essentially the same van as the 12 seater but with more seats and less boot space?

    Thanks in advance [msnsmile]

That is often the case. Alamo only offer a 15 seater, so their 12 seater is actually identical. They base that on the fact that if someone orders a 12 seater they will see it as a bonus having 3 extra seats in the back. If only 12 people, the rear seats could be used to store luggage.

In the past Alamo used to remove the rear seats to make it a 12 seater. Nowadays they leave all seats in place.

If you order the Dollar or Budget 12 seater, this is usually a slightly smaller vehicle (rather than a 15 seater with rear seats removed).

Do you know roughly how much it would cost to fill up one of the 15 seaters at current prices?

I believe currently around $80 when completely empty.
