    Disney Shows

Just wondered if anyone can advise how far in advance we need to queue for something like The Lion King.
When we went to Disney Paris- we arrived about an hour before the show was due to start and the queue was already closed.
As we will only be doing 1 day at Animal Kingdom we really don't want to miss seeing this show.

Tricky this one as I've been on some occasions and just wandered in and yet on others had to queue-I would search for the forums to find out which is the quietest day and then gauge it when you get there. We went in March last year and strolled in

There are usally 4 to 6 performances of the show throughout the day.

It really does depend when you will be visiting in order to judge the level of guests in the park.

Off peak you shouldn't have too much trouble, and arriving 10-20 minutes prior will almost certainly guarantee you a good seat.

In peak periods expect to queue around 20-45 minutes.

Whenever you go, enjoy the show... it really is spectacular and well worth the short wait to see it.

We're going to Animal Kingdom on Easter Sunday- so I imagine it will be quite busy- but I didn't realise there were so many shows every day, when we went to Paris- we went Monday to Wed and the lion King wasn't on till the Wednesday and there were only 2 shows, we could only make the first one as were heading home mid afternoon- so couldn't get in.
Definately don't want to miss it this time!!! Its one of my daughters fav movies.

Another 'not to be missed' at AK is "Finding Nemo - the musical"...
Not particularly well advertised, but a great live show...

Some of the real popular shows in peak times can close the queue quite early
