    Hi
We always go mid October and most of the time the parks are not too busy, apart from, of course, Magic Kingdom which I think is busy no matter what time of the year you go. We went last October and in Busch Gardens especially we had no queues at all. Universal was the busiest park that we went to when we had a 3 quarter hour wait for MIB and The Mummy, we didn't attempt Rip Ride Rock it because the queues were enormous and the ride kept breaking down. IOA was a 10 to 15 min wait for most of the rides and it was the same roughly for Seaworld. We didn't do Disney this time so can't comment on that. We went to Aquatica a couple of times and again it was a 10 to 15 min wait for the rides.

I am sure you will have a fab holiday. We go again in 2 years 8 months exactly today.[high5]

Before the school holidays start, the parks are relatively quiet. The weather's usually great that time of year as well - with little or no humidity. [msncool]

The second week in October last year it was sooo hot, record high temperatures and the himidity was REALLY high, almost unbearable, even the locals were complaining about the weather. Spent so much time in the pool ..... shame..... then the next week the temperature dropped by about 20 degrees over night to record lows, with the humidity dropping as well, the locals all ended up in long trousers and fleeces, but to us it then felt like a normal hot british summer. Happy days .....[msncool]

Any time from mid September through October is my favourite time to go. Less busy and the weather is usually great. Love it in May too!

Our grandchildren came on 9th October 2009. It was definitely exceptionally hot but it did not deter people from visiting the parks. We were surprised at how busy the parks were as it was before half term. We visited MK, Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Seaworld, Universal, IOA and Aquatica All very very busy. You just have to be prepared and patient[msnwink]

We went on the 26th October last year during the school holidays but remember that it's only school holidays for the UK. Having been previously during May, July and August I couldn't believe how quiet the parks were during October by comparison. We walked straight onto all the rides such as Manta, Rip Ride Rockit, no problems. The busiest part of the whole holiday was the Virgin flights, there wasn't a spare seat on the plane.

been in 2007 and 2009 in mid october.

absolutely scorching last october for our first week and then over the weekend it went really cold for a couple of days, certainly felt a lot colder than the temperatures said it was and saw locals in winter coats.

Picked up again and was scorching again the second week.

Great time to go, weather usually perfect and not too busy either.
