where will you be staying in disney, a friend of mine told me that he has used one there, but also if you are close to kissimmee, there are a few around there.
Hi Paul, you don't say where you are staying but if you rent a villa from one of the Orlando Villas sites (links below) many owners offer free worldwide phone calls and internet. When enquiring just list the internet as a must have.
The Disney area is huge so for help on the nearest internet cafes you would need to be a bit more specific about where you are staying. You could always try a search on the Disney website. UPS stores located next to most supermarkets in the area also usually have internet. It really shouldn't be too much of a problem finding one but it is so much more convenient (and cheaper) to have it where you are staying [msnwink]
I hope that helps?

There is a Library on the 192 at Celebraton that offers Internet access, you have to book a slot but it is free, you only pay if you need to print anything.

hi there everyone.
thanks for the speedy replies.
unfortunately i'm still awaiting to hear exactly where we will be staying as i'm still awaiting my ticket details from thomas cook....
but i've been assured it's in the kissimmee area and only 30 mins drive to disney parks....
will update as soon as i get clarification from thomas cook once i receive my tickets.

Internet cafe's seem to be a thing of the past since wireless is available in so many places. Park in any hotel lot with your laptop and you'll get a good signal!
Jeff & Amy Stephens
that's fantastic.
i'm intending to take my netbook with me anyway to store all the lovely memories of our holiday.
thanks for the info.

Most places have wireless, but most hotels have there internet password protected so that only guests can access it. When I took my netbook in January I sat outside the library at Celebration and got a good connection there, but in most other places all the conections it could see were unavailable without a password.

There used to be one called World of Coffee in the Lake Buena Vista mall on 535 which had great coffee and friendly service. I'm going back a few years so it may not still be there.
