Convertible with Budget

Has anyone hired a convertible with Budget recently? we have one booked for the end of April and was wondering what to expect.

I must admit my worst nightmare would be a PT cruiser as we do not like them and it seems the boot is smaller than some. We will have the car for three weeks, two of which we will be touring around so would want to be happy with the car.

Any comments appreciated.

We booked a convertible the second week of September 2009, we were hoping for a Mustang, but Budget have not had Mustangs for a while, we ended up with a bright white Chrysler Sebring.
Nice car, a little under powered, but nice with the electric roof.

We had a Sebring too last june. We were hoping for a Mustang too [msncry]. They said they haven't had those for a while. Oh well, the Sebring was nice. We were first assigned a smaller car (can't remember the name and brand for the life of me!), it was cute and sexy but VERY small and when the guy at the kiosk took a look at our trolley he nicely told us to check first if our luggage would fit in the trunk [msnwink]. Of course it didn't, so he changed us to a Sebring.

Thanks for the replies, Budget still adveritse Mustangs. A sebring will be okay tho just not a PT Cruiser.

Hubby says if they give him a PT Cruiser he will refuse it, let's hope it does not come to that.

We hated the PT Cruiser...we ended up buying a Sebring after renting one a few times...lovely car...
