We've always used Dollar up until last year when Alamo were SO much cheaper that I couldn't justify paying the extra just so I could use Dollars express line. Alamo were fine, and there was no queue when we arrived so it didn't matter!

    Hi Roland

We have used Budget for our last few visits. We always pre-register and then go straight to the kiosk in the car park. We have had no problems with this system.

Thanks for all the advice. I think we may take a punt on Budget and use the pre-register service - I guess one of us could go straight to the pre-register kiosk after Immigration and sign-in, while the other collects the bags, especially as I suspect it will be a busy time.

With two drivers, will that work if s/he takes both licences to the kiosk? Also, is it easy to find? I've never been to MCO, but is it signposted or obvious which car park to go to and then where the Budget kiosk is?

Sorry for all the dumb questions!

    Roland

The Budget kiosk is very easy to find at MCO. Just across the road from Bag Claim, follow signs to Car Hire pick up and follow arrow for Budget.

I have always had my wife with me at the Budget kiosk, but as yet they have not asked to see her licence.

    Another thing Roland

It may be a good idea to separate with the LEAD DRIVER picking up the keys for the car whilst the second driver gets the baggage, but do not try driving round to pick up others and bags. Its is easier to take the bags to the car park.

Maybe pick up the keys, suss out which line the car is in and then return to meet others and bags. Leaving the car in Budget parking.
