Hi Mary,
have only ever seen Lyle and Scott golf wear in Edwin Watts on the 192 , but the sweaters were much more expensive than back home in Scotland , due to the fact I think that they are a British make.
I am in Florida at the moment and found that its much harder to get bargains now with the dollar rate not being as good.
Its not much better here right now if you have US$ income, with taxes being so high, gas being expensive, and work being scarce and rents going down.
That's why we shop at the Goodwill stores a lot, I can't remember last time I bought any clothing in a retail store except socks and underwear, both pretty good at Walmart in bulk packs.
Good shirts and trousers and tops etc, some new or like like new, some excellent labels, for less than $4 each, 10% off if you are over 55 years of age, and every week all clothing with a tag of a particular color (meaning its been on the rail for 3 weeks or so) is halfprice.
They do Lyle and Scott in thrift stores????

I've bought all sorts of stuff in the Goodwill store. Every label under the sun will make an appearance there once in a while, you just have to keep looking.
There is a difference between Goodwill (non-religious, non profit retaining) and thrift stores ( can be just a clever business which gets it stock for nothing) and charity thrift shops which don't charge sales tax if they have no paid employees, these are often to do with a church.
And I think I have mentioned the Habitat for Humanity stores which sell new and used construction materials and accessories. There is a good one near I4 / SR50 W. There is an even better and cheaper one in Tallahassee but its rather too far to go.
I see, not really suitable for someone on vacation, they would not want to waste time sifting through thrift/goodwill stores looking for one particular label and then of course a nice design.
To the original poster I have never seen Lyle and Scott over there, I am sure I would have noticed as it is a label I used to wear back the early 80s.

As a previous poster has pointed out, you can get some items at specialist golf stores in Florida. I've seen it at Edwin Watts and a couple of upscale golf clubs on the Gulf Coast. That said, like a lot of premium brands, it seemed much more expensive than it is in the UK so why bother?
