    Google Earth

As I am new to the forum not sure if anyone has mentioned this before, but once we had the address of our villa we were able to google earth it and it was fab to see it just as if you were walking along the street, it gave us a really good insight as to where its located.

Just a note of caution - some of the images on those kind of services can be very out of date and show communities looking like building sites, when in fact all construction was finished a few years ago. We don't want people unduly worrying about any home they have booked [msnsad].

Seeing this thread got me to check our community and surrounding area out.. Last time i checked it was a photo from 2008 - yesterday it was from Sept 2006. I sort of think in this case i understand why, as there was a cloud covering a lot of home on the 2008 version for homes east of ours.

Just checked Bing and our villa (built 4 yr ago) is not even showing - just an empty spot between two other homes.

Dont seem to be able to find anything on Google Earth, think I am doing the wrong type of search or something.

    Try Google street view.
A lot of places are more recent.
