    US Airways ex Glasgow

Hi, we normally fly Continental ex GLA or Edi and was wondering if anyone has used US Airways out of GLA via Philly?

    Many thanks in advance[msnsmile2]

    Hi Karen.

We have just returned US Aiways into Manchester via Philadelphia[msnsmile2]

Great flight, Even better price. £1600 cheaper than next airline price[clap][clap] for family of four.

    We will use again [msnsmile2][msnsmile2]

Have used Manchester via Philly twice in the past with US Airways. It depends which connection you pick when you book with them, our last connection was 2hr 15mins which was plenty of time to get through immigration and onto the connction flight but there are longer stop overs you can use you just arrive in Orlando later in the evening.

    Hi, Karen

We booked a flight with about 3hr 30min gap between arriving in Philly. So we had "plenty" of time.
No rushing worrying if we were going to miss the connection. As it was Christmas flights were full!! and we might of struggled to be transfered to a later flight. Especially with little one's.
We then had "plenty" of time to get something to eat, before flying down to Orlando.
As it was there was a delay from Manchester, but we still had no worries and still had time to eat.
We could have got an earlier plane, but for the sake of an hour or so did'nt think it was worth the hastle.
There were big ques at security when you changed terminals and it was interesting watching people, "clock watching". Maybe worrying about flight times? Then as we gathered our belongings and put our shoes back on, watching them run while trying to put things back in bags and put shoes on was quite a site.

    Hi Karen

We travelled with Us Airways Manchester - Orlando via Philadelphia a few weeks back. Transfer time was 2 hrs, immigration was slow and bag check for the trasfer was also slow. But to be fair, no real difference between there and anywhere else we have gone through.
