Flights question

Quick questio for anybody flying Virgin this year...
i am flying to orlando on Nov. 4th 2010, for three weeks.

Normally we an prebook our seats 11 months until the day we return, on the vigin atlantic website. for us this day was Boxing Day.
So at 8am on Boxing Day i was logging on to the site, only to find that seat booking was uavailable, its been like that since.

We have been in touch wth virgin and they cant confirm anything, except to suggest that either the planes bookable seats had already been taken (unlikely as the first day we could book they were unavailable) or the plane has ben changed and they havent been released yet.

is anyone else able to book their Virgi flight seatsfor this coming november yet?
specifically anyone flying from gatwick on the 4th nov...?

I thought the 11 months is on the return flight so at the moment it is only coming up with flights up to a return on the 2nd Decemebr. You should be OK to book in a couple of days.

Its 335 days from the date of your return flight.

We return on the 26th nov, so we should be able to book now....

Is the issue seat selection or purchasing tickets? There may be many reasons why you can't select a seat but there shouldn't be any problem purchasing flights now.

no its just seat selection.
holiday has been booked since april last year!
we can normally book the seats, but havent had the option to yet.

Lyn - have you been able to prebook your seats for your return flight on virgins website? We are on the second flight home that day i think

Yes I booked the return seats at the same time as I booked the outward seats this was on the 6th Jan. our return time is 19.50 on 26th November.
