Wow, that's astounding. I lived in Swindon for 10 years and the best thing anyone ever had to say about it was that it had good train links to London

[/quote]Been a long time since i've been, the wife has relatives there, but i think there was a place called Oasis which had a bowling alley, cinema, marriott hotel etc which was pretty good.

I used to have to drive there every day ...nearly ended up living there..but came to the US instead..to live near Disney part of the year..I know which I like better...[msnsmile2][msnwink]

The Oasis is a sports and leisure centre on the Great Western Way. Are you thinking of the cinema, bowling and hotel at Shaw Ridge (although it's a De Vere hotel not a Marriott)?

How long before the entire Swindon council votes to travel to Florida on a "fact-finding mission"?!
