    How did they know?

I just called Disney to book tickets for Mickey's Magical Christmas Party. The (very nice) lady on the 'phone said "thanks for coming again, I see it's your 13th visit with us, the last time you came was 2006".

Well, she's wrong. I've been more or less every year since about 1976, often twice a year. I was there the year Epcot opened and I've seen all the changes. However, I've bought my tickets through a variety of outlets (including here)and have only been at my current address since 2000. I'm sure I've only bought from the Disney website/call centre once or twice.

So, even though she's wrong, how did she know? There's no way I've been 13 times since they made the tickets non-transferrable. I'm a little puzzled.

My mother always taught me someone was watching everything I did. I just didn't know it was Walt Disney!

Could it be the 13thoccasion on which you have booked a specific event like Character breakfast,
    Christmas party etc.
of maybe its just 13 since they started counting they would have no way of checking from the tickets since they do not know who has bought what from agents I'm sure.

I have no explanation to offer, but I'm pretty sure there's some law that entitles you to know how they're keeping track of personal information or that sort of things [msnwink]. They're trying to make it sound all nice and personal, but in your case it obviously didn't work, so much for computerized customers info! [msnwink]

oohh BIG MICKEY is watching you As Steph says, I would guess it is things you have booked rather than park entry.

Have you ever answered a survey for one of those nice people who hang around the entrance gates of the parks?

Thats one of the questions they ask.

Never answered any survey questions (that I can recall). Only ever booked one special event with them and only booked directly with Disney a couple of times. I can only assume ticket sellers must pass details back to them? Except curiously they thought my last visit was 2006, yet I've been two or three times since then.
