which community?

we need a community which is near to disney but also one which we can walk to restaurants in the evenings so no-one has to drive!!! which area would suit us best? i have been looking at formosa gardens etc but ned help

Formosa Gardens is approx ½ mile to the Formosa Gardens Shopping Plaza where there is an Outback, TGIF, Carrabbas, Giordano's, Dairy Queen and Taco Bell - plus Cracker Barrell coming soon. Opposite this is on the same road is Red Lobster so plenty of choice.

Oak Island Harbor and Cove are approx ¾ mile - but some of this road is unmade, Rolling Hills & Indian Creek are approx 1 mile away, and we always see people walking to and from the shops as well as the restaurants.

Many of the communities on the 192 are very close to shops and resturaunts. Depending on when you will be going, as in the summer time it can get very humid walking around.

There are several vacation home areas around Walmart on US 192. They are a few minutes walk from the main road and the bus runs every 15 minutes during the day.

They are also within staggering distance of several "British" pubs, in case you get homesick.
