    Quad Bike Riding

We had a wonderful family holiday this December, taking our 18 month grandson for his first visit who my daughter now describes as a 'changed man' since his adventure in Florida!

When our daughter and her family were leaving (unfortunately they had to return to the UK before us due to work commitments) I asked what was the best thing you did this trip and their unanimous verdict was Quad Biking [website link edited]

Although it was raining on the day they went they said it just added to the experience. A very friendly English couple run the business that is set in over 200 acres of Florida countryside - they said the location was amazing.

They did a safety briefing and training course before riding the actual quad biking course. The instructor (an ex-rally driver) rides ahead setting the pace. They said all of the safety equipment and bikes were in great condition. My daughter's comment was it makes the quad biking track she has done at home look silly!

My husband managed to get some pictures however the quality isn't great as he was riding the quad bike and using an old digital camera!

My advice would be if you decide to give it go, to check the restrictions on the website, make sure you have adequate travel insurance and be prepared to get dirty!

Wow - that looks really good and is certainly something we'd love to try ourselves.

I just looked it up but you have to be 16, so will have to wait another 3 years until my son is old enough. There would be major sulks if I did it without him
