Delta reverses Manchester -New York withdrawal

It's reported that Delta have reversed their decision to withdraw its Manchester-New York service. It will now be suspended from 7 January 2010 but brought back for the summer only starting on May 2. I know a lot of people on here us the route on the way to Florida.

So we now have Delta, American, Air Pakistan & Continental all operating a New York service from Manchester. It'll be interesting to see if they all stick with it.

Thats good Phil good luck to them and hope they do well ,We usualy use Delta in December but the wait at Alanta was 7 hours or stay until the next day and fly down to Orlando then as Jfk gets snow up when we fly back in 2010 ,So we have got seats on Virgin this time but we have a lot of miles with Delta so will try them next time as they are great .
Have you flown with Air Pakistan and if so were they good ?

No I haven't Maureen - I'm not even certain it still runs but I think it makes a stop in Manchester en route from Pakistan to JFK. You can buy tickets but they aren't advertised much and I believe they're very expensive.

it is good to see as it will give people the extra option if they want to stop over and save money on their flights. We did New York last year and stayed for 2 nights before making the hop down to the villa. Was a nice little extra to the holiday.
