    Diromio's - terrible meal

For the first time ever in my life I have refused to pay for a meal. This was at Diromio's Prizza and Grill about 1/2 south of the 192 on the 27.

I had been looking forward to a pizza and we went there as had seen the restaurant. I ordered my pizza with sun dried tomatoes and when it arrived they were incinerated. I asked for them to be taken off and new ones added. My pizza came back with slabs of sun dried tomatoes and a totally uncooked pizza. I had thought that it was only one slice which had missed the oven so I left the first slice and tried a second one - no better. I then sent the meal back and said that I would not pay for my pizza. We still agreed to pay for the starter and my Husband's pizza, neither which were great but they were just about edible.

We paid our bill and just as we were leaving a gentleman [?] came over and banned us from ever visiting his restaurant again because he had noticed that two slices were missing from the pizza so it was just that I wasn't hungry. He hadn't seen the amount of uneaten pizza on my plate. Needless to say we advised him that wild horses wouldn't force us back in.

We were the only people in the restaurant - can't think why!.
My bowl of cereal at home afterwards was lovely, but not what I had wanted!

I don't blame you-we are too backward at coming forward in this country-natural justice will prevail!

Every time we went past Diromio's this past fortnite it looked empty with just a couple of cars outside.

They also twice put menu leaflets through/under our door while we were there which i thought was a bit unusual, especially as Tuscan Hills not only had Key Code Gate access for cars but also for pedestrians. Presume they must ask permission at the club house first or have the codes due to delivering pizzas to people??

When it first opened it was good, huge portions and excellent - but last time we went, it was almost empty and we too refused the meal. The pasta was neither cooked not hot. We didn't hang around long enough to be banned, but then as we would never go back it wouldn't have mattered.

Never been in one - they just don't seem appealing from the outside - let alone inside!! By the sounds of things, a place definitely not to go to.

What a double blow - dreadful restaurant taking over somewhere we wanted to try but didn't get round to.[msnsad]
