I reckon you Canadians have it just right. Thanksgiving at the start of Fall, rather than marking the beginning of Winter
Enjoy the weather while you can before you are buried in snow
Where 'bouts in Canada are you? I was in Waterton, Alberta last summer and fell in love with it! Nestled in the Rockies. Just north of Glacier National Park, Montana. Which, I must add, was just as spectacular!

Right over the other side. Wasaga Beach about 2 hours north of Toronto. Longest fresh water beach in the world. 25 minutes drive from the Blue Mountains, the largest ski resort in Ontario. More hills though nothing like the Rockies.

Yep we will be under a few feet of snow by the end of November. Actually its quite nice having the Thanksgiving mid way between the end of summer and Christmas. I think in the US it almost starts the beginning of the Christmas season.

Hello Andrew
Just a comment from a quiet but dedicated follower of Orlando Villas. I always enjoy your spectacular photographs but I think the sunset beach picture is absolutely superb. Would be interested in what camera you used. There is so much to look at in that picture. Thanks for taking the time to share them.

Hello Tricia,
thank you for the compliments, I am sitting here [:I]
I bought the camera earlier this year: Canon Power Shot SX10 IS. just automatic mode as I haven't really got to grip with all the functions. These were taken the same evening>
