Although the weather can be warm during the day in early May the nights will possibly be down in the 60's. This means the pool will lose a lot of the heat it may have built up in the day.

If you like an early morning swim or the children(??) want to go in early then have the pool heated. I am often in my home around this time of year and the pool heater is always on.

Can I ask. Should the pool be heated in November?

July and August would not need pool heating.

June and Sept would be bearable without, but would prefer to have heating.

Whilst I understand the difficulties, it does seem unfair that many pool owners charge the same for pool heating all year round.

When we were out in May this year the temperature in the pool first thing in the morning was 82F, reaching 86F in the late afternoon. Same out here at the moment. Almost identical temperatures.
