Glad to hear your Mom is feeling better: hearing that it's nothing life-threatening probably helps a lot... for everybody [clap]. Now you've got a few days to see how it goes and weighs the pros and cons, but if she feels that she should stay at home, maybe you shouldn't push it too much? Sometimes when you're not feeling so well, all you want is your own surroundings and comfort... If she's insured, she's not losing much financially by not going, and she can come with you next time (good excuse to go back, if you ever need one[msnwink]).

If your Mum does decide that she can go, do make sure that when you go to either parks or shopping malls, that you hire a wheelchair for her. It will make all the difference to her enjoyment and ability to join in with the rest of the family. My Mum didn't want a wheelchair, but once she got into it she loved it - said that at least she could carry the shopping so she felt useful!!
I hope that everything works out for you all.

Hi Melanie, mum is sooo much better, obviously she still has the very large cyst but she seems to be back to her self, well put it this way she had her case out tried on all her new clothes and made me take her to bluewater for some last minute bits, the hairdresser is coming tonight to do her hair, shes booked a pedicure for wednesday all ready to travel on thursday, it helps knowing that she has the right travel insurance just incase it was to all flare up again, and in all honesty like her consultant says if it did go wrong she would be in the best place,

I've got this image in my head of your Mum, like the people on the tv ad, sitting on her bed with the suitcase packed whilst you're trying to get the kids ready, with a big grin on her face saying I can't sleep, I'm toooooo excited!"

Starting to get the same picture in my head lol, I keep telling her the things people do to get out of work... The good thing that came from this is when she was admitted to hospital they put her on the ward she works on so she could be looked after by her friends/work colleagues, even though its a gynae ward.. Thankyou all for you kind words, and im sure we will have a fab time
