Do they have to be direct flights? If so, maybe that's a pretty good price. The danger is that you find a lower fare in the future but they don't have 15 seats at the price.

If you don't mind making a connection you can definitely get flights below £400 now and perhaps a bit cheaper still between now and then. I see that your date is a Friday - have a look at flying mid week and you could save quite a bit of money for 15 seats doing that.

I went out to Florida earlier this year in May (3rd - 13th) for 10 days taking my DM & DD1. I booked these flights with Virgin, Manchester - Orlando in January 09 when they had their January sale on and the price including all taxes was £329 per person.

Don't forget Virgin have increased their prices since Michelle travelled last May and they have cancelled some of their flights, so the price may not necessarily go down after Christmas. It is a risk you will have to take and hope for the best.[msnscared]

    Hi Liesa

Don't forget to check direct flights with BA to Tampa. We have found this a much easier airport to negotiate with small children. And our best deals have been to Tampa. Going this Xmas, 4 of us with BA for only £1320 booked direct on BA website, probably during a sale.

Depending on location of your villa, airport transfer time not much more than from Orlando International.

My advice is just keep checking all the well-known websites on a daily basis, have a price in mind you are willing to pay and be ready to book there and then when you see it.

Sound advice from Grandad which you should take. If the price being offered is for direct flights grab it, cheaper flights with a connection are available, just Google. You can also get cheaper direct flights, but you will need to check the prices daily and pick up on any special offers, then again there is availability.
This is what I have done for this year's flights. The cheapest flights I found were EDI>LGW>MCO and return same route (all with BA) was £406 each. I grabbed this, and have tracked flight price almost daily. There was a short while (probably no longer that 1 day) when I could have got the same flights for £396.
With the current economic climate, exchange rates and whatever lies ahead for a struggling BA I would grab the price offered. This price should hold at least until January, I would however consider as suggested by KG, to fly mid-week, that's what we do and it is cheaper.

We're also looking at going out april/may next year and as yet not purchased my tickets. I'm sorting of hoping the "january sale" will give a better deal, but also by next year, the fuel supplement "tax" will have dropped.
