Me and family are off to Florida on Sunday, but I am convinced that by then, Hurricane Bill will be right by Canada, which means it will be right in our flight path (Manchester to Orlando). Does anyone know if this will probably be the case?

I would imagine you would be routed so you are away from any bad weather if it came near to your flight route.
Dom is absolutely correct.
Flights are always routed to provide the safest route for everyone concerned, so I really wouldn't bother yourself. Relax and leave it to the experts !!!
My prediction is that you will have a great flight and a wonderful vacation ... enjoy [8D]
We are flying on Monday so have been watching Bill's progress but don't worry the plane will take a route to avoid it.

Ok thats a relief that it will take a different route rather than be delayed. Lets hope we go under the storm rather than over it because that will mean a shorter flight.![]()
We have a few times been routed a few times straight across southern Ireland and Bermuda well clear of Cananda.

Ok Eric. Did this route take more or less time than the usual route?
It was about the same time, some 8 and a half hours,it was quite odd in that we saw no land after Ireland until we crossed the Florida coastline

Ah right cool, well we'll see what happens on Sunday[beer]
We are flying on Wednesday. My main worry is keeping granddaughter busy for the flight[msnwink]although she is generally happy having us walk up and down the aisles with her.
