Have done a search but no recent information there.
We are flying from Birmingham on 26th with Continental. Has anyone flown with them recently that can update info on what the flights/seats/meals etc are like please.

Birmingham to Newark leg is on a Boeing 757 which is a single aisle narrow-bodied plane with a 3-3 seating configuration in economy. Perfectly good aircraft but some people find that it gives a slightly cramped feeling on a long flight and, if you're a couple, there are no seat pairs.
Ultimately, it depends on how you view the flight. If it's just a means to an end then these points are pretty insignificant but if you're a fan of wide-bodied aircraft with seats in pairs, you may not find it to your taste.
The meals, entertainment and seat pitch are about the same as all the other legacy Transatlantic carriers. I'm sure you'll be fine.
We have flown with them from Manchester and there were very good we still have sky miles with them but the agents we have got our flights with have never got a good deal with them .
The change of plane at Newark was very good and the staff very polite .

We fly from Bristol with them sometimes. We have found the seats one of the most comfortable seats in economy. Newark was very simple getting through immigration and I am sure you will have a good flight. There really isn't much to choose between airlines these days, so going for the best deal seems the way to go!
Have a good time.

Thanks guys. The convenience of birmingham was the reason for going with them. We have been upgraded for the flight to orlando so seat pitch etc should be good. No such luck for the flight back though (not yet anyway).
