    Baggage Allowance

    HI,

Hope you can help. I booked flights to orlando with expedia last week. We fly Aerlingus from DUBlin to gatwick, and Virgin from Gatwick to Orlando. Virgin bagge allowance is fine as they do not charge, but Aer Lingus normally charge for every bag. Just wondering as it is part of a transatlantic trip would aer lingus still charge me for baggage ?

    Hope that makes sense!
    Paul

I think the best way to get the correct answer Paul, would be to contact Aer Lingus and ask them.

I booked flights with Aer lingus from Dublin direct to Orlando going in Sept and the first bag is free, but I think on the short flight from Dublin to Gatwick they will charge you for your bag [msnsad]

If it's all 1 ticket you'd usually get the Transatlantic allowance on the domestic leg but it might be worth checking first - excess charges can be extortionate.
