wrong voucher for car size

help, i have just recieved my voucher for car hire and it says 5 seater. we have clearly booked a 7 seater and payed way more than a 5 seater! what happens now?[msncry][msnoo]

Just fill in the form on the website here http://www.floridahire.com/Contact.aspx with your order number, etc and I'm sure that, whatever the problem, it'll be sorted soonest.

As Blott says, just email with your order number so we can check. This does occasionally happen - although almost certainly booked correctly, the voucher can sometimes come from the supplier with the wrong car type printed on, hence we always ask customers to double check details. It will then just be a case of our supplier re-issuing the correct voucher.

ok thanks rodger, have filled in the form, i know that car hire description of cars vary and they are in groups, its just the mention of 5 seats rather than 7 seater!!!![msneek]would be a bit of a squeeze, 7 people into 5 seats!!

Shona, this is a word of warning. With 7 people, you will definitely not be able to get all of them AND their luggage into a 7 seater. If you all want to be in one car then you will have to opt for a 12 seater minivan or maybe even a 15 seater because there will be loads of luggage.

By the way, I am assuming that you will actually need room for luggage in the car

thanks for that advice murraycrewe, we are meeting up with another family who are taking the luggage for us, they have also hired a 7 seater for two of them!!! they are planning on doing a lot of tavelling so once we are all in the villa we will be fine[msnwink]

I would imagine you are going to have quite a squish on the way to and from the airport with 6 large cases and 6 people in the vehicle.

We book a 7 seater for 6 of us. It is a bit of a squeeze with 6 bags/cases but we have always managed. It's only tight on the way too and from the airport, which is a relatively short journey, the rest of the holiday it is never a problem.

I certainly wouldn't fancy having to drive a 12 seater![msnsad]
