Day 7... After complaining about an ear ache before he went to bed, Luke woke up with a really sore ear. You would think he would learn and wear the ear plugs I keep buying for him when he swims - I give up nagging him. So off to the drop in clinic at Wallgreens. We arrived as they opened at 9.30 (it was a Sunday) and were the first patients to be seen, no waiting at all. The doctor / nurse was fantastic and gave him a full look over before prescribing the antibiotic ear drops and tablets. It really was no bother and simple to do.

We then headed off to the Gospel brunch at the house of blues... food was OK and the singers were great. We did feel a little uncomfortable as we really are not religious at all (unlike the rest of the audience who were Amening and hallelujahing away), but it was still good fun.

As Luke's ear was still sore we headed back to the villa to relax by the pool. I went and did a bit (well a lot) of shopping at the millennia mall and then we headed out to dinner at Bahama Breeze

Day 8 - a day of rest was requested by all so we spent the whole day at the Villa whilst Luke waited for the antibiotics to kick in.

Day 9 - Luke was still not up to going to a park, so we headed out for breakfast at Bob Evans and then hit the premium outlet mall. My wife had a splurge at J Crew and then Banana Republic and I brought a new pair of Persol sunglasses[msncool] that I had been eying up. On the way back to the car a quick trip into Coach added some more to the bill. We then went to Olive Garden for dinner. Never been here before but loved the lasagne fritters and I had the tour of italy for main course. We all agreed that Olive Garden would be visited again before the end of the holiday. Luke was starting to better and so we agreed it would be a park day for day 10.

We still have plenty to fit in and are running out of time....
