    Virgin Flight Prices

    Hi

Looking to go to Orlando next April and have been checking prices for different airlines, from Manchester. Virgin prices to me look good £417 each at the moment, but am wary about booking now incase the prices come down which happened to me when I booked for this year. I know if I leave it I may not get my dates although I am slightly flexible by a week or so.

Anyone got any thoughts or advice on this.

    Thanks.

To be honest I doubt you'll get much better price than that for Virgin at April, with the school hols on it is usually much more expensive.

Thanks Steph, that's what I thought, I am sure I paid much the same price in 2002.

Hopefully I will be able to talk hubby into booking this before the price goes up.

Do not think that it will go down you have to allow for the extrat tax the goerment has put on again and I am sure the airliners cannot keep putting on there markup .

If that's school holidays then it's probably not going to get better. If it's not, the price might drop a bit in the occasional sales Virgin have between now and nearer the time.

The date I am looking at is the 22nd or 29th April. It is not holiday time in Scotland but not sure about elsewhere, we are planning on going for three weeks.

Virgin seem to give 3 weeks cheaper than other airlines we had quite a few stay in our villa getting who got 3 weeks cheaper than 2 weeks .
And car hire is not bad as well .

I paid £410 in Feb with Virgin so if its £417 in April 2010 snap their hands off as would have thought April would be much higher, especially for direct flights

I work in a primary school in England. Next year, we break up for Easter hols on Friday, 26th March for two weeks which means Good Friday falls on Friday, 3rd April. We go back to school on Monday, 12th April. Hope that helps.

We booked flight for April 11th for 3 weeks with virgin but using our tesco vouchers changed into airmiles, two flights all in £520 and we get flying club miles as well, back to collecting tesco vouchers again for later on next year
