    Photo ID Universal

Just looking at the tickets for Universal/IOA (purchased through this site)and they state that Photo ID is required. Since the only ID will be our passports I wanted to check to see if this was an absolute must.Would seem totally inpractical to have ouir passorts on wet rides etc. I am not going to trust lockers either.

    Any suggestions or views?

We've been in Universal hundreds of times and never once been asked for photo ID. You'll be fine without it.

Please DON'T rely on photo ID not being required, they sometimes ask for it.
Just carry a photocopy of your passports' photopage with you.
Also covers all the other occasions when you might need ID...
Would suggest that you don't carry passports with you, leave then safely locked in your villa !!!

It is a legal requirement in USA that you carry some form of photo id with you at all times, not just in the parks.

I was asked for id once entering universal studios as i had a print at home ticket.I found coin bags from the bank are the perfect size for passports to keep them dry [msnwink]

Doubt you'd need photo ID for your children if you carry yours...
Those of us of uncertain age (ahem) haven't got photo driving licences,
we've got REAL ones made of genuine paper !!!!
