    Discovery Cove tickets

We are going to Florida next Easter and my kids really wanted to go to Discovery cove. I tried online and all the dates were booked, even tried the free phone number, but was told the same thing.

I was rather disappointed but I found a site offering tickets on Google:
    http://www.onlineflorida.co.uk
Somehow they managed to get me tickets however it did cost me £100 more than the online price. I still can't figure out how this happened, do they prebook a number of places, or do Seaworld reserve a number of places for agents.

I'm happy I got the tickets but I'm ******* upset that I had to pay extra and was told by Seaworld that all the dates were sold out.

Anyone else had experiences like this?

We could`nt get tickets from our travel agent or Virgin but did get them direct from DC the price difference between all three was minimal maybe it`s because Easter is a busy time

The price should be the same where ever you buy. They agentbwould simply take your money and then book you in. If you have paid more than they are quoting I would dispute the charge with your CC company. Why didnt you go direct to www.discoverycove.com? All the tickets litsed on the site you mentioned are OTT in price.

As you said you tried DC already and they didn't have the dates, I would also double check that you have actually got a reservation for the dates you think you have. The children are going to be doubly disappointed if you arrive on the day and find that you are not booked in. Once you have got your confirmation details from the place you booked it you can e-mail dc direct with the reservation no and ask them to confirm it.

Well as I said I did try Discovery cove directly but all the dates were taken. I've got a confirmation email from the travel agent but no booking number yet and they said the tickets will be dispatched in the next few days.

I noticed on their site they had a price guarantee so I'll wait until I get the tickets and then try getting the price down.

I really don't want to turn up and find there are no tickets!

Are those Discovery Cove tickets transferable if I can't go?

Been twice to DC in August 2001 & 2002, never had any problems booking online.

Sounds a bit fishy to me (sorry about the pun). When you get the tkts I would go back to Seaworld and ask them why.

If you have not been before you will not be disappointed.

I never got 'tickets' to go to DC when I booked direct with DC just a reference to quote when we arrived in guest relations not 'physical tickets'. Not wishing to panic you in any way shape or form but I would be slightly concerned about this when coupled with the extra £100 'charge' I would certainly query it!!
If you are in at DC have a wicked one - certainly was the highlight of our last trip!!
