has anybody noticed the parks a bit quieter this year with the credit crunch? maybe not so many people going.

well up until now we have had record ticket sales, we had a good year last year but this years sales have smashed last years. Like everyone we were expecting a drop in sales but got a nice surprisei know car hire is the same. So people are definitely going.

The second quarter 2009 official visitor numbers are due out soon but there was a 11% fall in visitors in Jan-Mar 2009. Of course, that is for the whole of Florida and includes both US and international visitors so it won't necessarily indicate that UK visitor numbers are down or whether the downward trend will continue through the summer.
Just back last week and they weren't quiet then although I was there over the 4th of July.
We went over in June and it was not quiet then. Some rides we waited over an hour for. Fast passes were running out on rides like Soarin, Toy story mania. Even some of the shows were packed. Nice atmosphere plenty of room to walk round etc but i would hate to think what it gets like Christmas.
