We have visited Lake Louisa and also Wekiwa Springs State Park and can thoroughly recommend a visit. There is plenty of information on this site about all the state parks in Florida and the various activities there are available. It is great to see unspoilt Florida as well as going the the theme parks. Florida really does have something for everyone.

We have also hired bikes and spent an afternoon cycling along a trail that was once a railway track. Here is the link in case this takes your fancy www.orlandobikerental.com If you are visiting during the summer months it might be better to do any cycling early morning.

    Year round hours are:
Mon - Fri 11 AM to 5 PM,
    Weekends and Holidays
    9 AM to 5 PM

    Hope this helps,
    Linda
