    Hotel rates

    Hi

Could anyone explain why [name edited] give a different total from the room rates shown when booking a hotel? ie. 2 nights @ £132 = £264 but the total shown by Expedia would be £304.[:I]

    Many thanks
    KJH

They've been doing that for as long as I can remember. I've always assumed that the extras were some sort of charges they levy. Many of their competitors don't do it and are almost always cheaper as a result. [names and links edited]

Could it be some sort of tax perhaps? £264 + 15% = £303.60 [msnsmile]

Do you mean if booked direct?

I often find booking direct on a companies web site is cheaper than booking through an on line third party, not always though so you have to try both
