Thread: Hi! I'm new!

    Hi! I'm new!

Hi there everyone, hope you're all well. I've just registered with this excellent site having booked a holiday to Orlando for 6th July 2009 until 16th July 2009. Unfortunately more than a ten day holiday wasn't possible due to short staffing where I work.
Anyway, this will be my first time in Orlando. I'm travelling with my girlfriend (I'm 27, she's 23) and we're stopping in the Econo Lodge on International Drive. We've got car hire sorted (from Sanford airport) and I'm just browsing to see if I can update my sat nav with USA maps.
Because we only have ten days we want to do Universal Studios, Sea World, Wet N Wild and Disney World. What ticket would be best for us to visit them all plus maybe do Disney World and Universal Studios more than once? I'm absolutely desperate to go swimming (or 'wading'?) with dolphins and am wondering where I should book for.
We also plan on going to a mall as well as a nice beach so any recommendations would be much appreciated.

    Many, many thanks.

We went swimming with dolphins at Discovery Cove a couple of years ago and had a wonderful day; not cheap but lots to do for a full day.
Look at ticket options for the parks using the links in the top pale yellow line above on this page; great prices and great service.
Malls in Florida - you can't move for them and you're not far from some very nice beaches. I'm sure some of our Gulf Coast members will be happy to recommend one.
Have a great time & I'm sure you'll find the site very useful [msnsmile2]

Thank you for both the advice and the greetings.
I've checked with Discovery Cove but unfortunately swimming with dolphins looks to be out - all the dates (for when we are there) are fully booked according to their online calendar. Just planning on doing Universal Studios, Sea World, Islands Of Adventure, Wet N Wild, Aquatica and the main parks at Disney (probably with a 'hopper' ticket). Figured we could then get some time in going to the beach, the mall, that type of thing. I suppose it sounds a little bit rushed.

With only 10 days its going to be hard to fit in all theparks you want to a beach, and a mall.

I would be tempted to forget about disney because all the others you can get on one ticket.

Save Disney for your next trip - becaus eonce you go you will definately want to go back again.

Off course you can do Disney plus the other parks, but this really doesn't leave you any 'me' time.

There ar esome ticket packages on the link above this forum that would allow you to visit all th eparks you mention.
