Tinkerbell did fly at the start of Wishes the other night. We saw it from the bridge from the Starlight Cafe to the hub. Couldn't see many fireworks because of the trees though. So next time we will be positioned in front I think.

Speaking of Tinkerbell we missed it by one child to 'wake her' this morning. Loads of characters about at the moment though and the eldest has gone from being shy last year to Autograph Commando. She hands the book, gets the book back and is in pose for the picture before you can say 'Mickey'.

Yes, she still does (at least as of last week). She goes from the front of the castle (the side towards Main Street/park entrance). You can get a good view of her from Main Street near Casey's Corner (the hot dog place). That can get a little crowded. I like standing on the bridge that comes over from Tomorrowland- I think it's just past Starlight Cafe. She goes just before the fireworks start. Brizzles right about the trees, you kind of have to get out on the bridge. [msncool]

Illuminations at Epcot is definitely not to be missed. Although if you have young kids aim to get there about 8pm because they don't start until 9:30pm.

We did it tonight for the first time and I have just got back. Amazing is all I can say.

Then the rest depends on who is in your party. Different things for different people. Just relax and enjoy it. The good thing for us is we have a 4 year old (on the 17th actually and we got CRT booked ) and a 16 month old so we are just taking 2 weeks doing a bit a day. That way we all enjoy it and they're not being dragged around at breakneck speed. We might fit in Seaworld for the second week but Universal can wait until next year.

Oh the other not to be missed thing is Shopping...Belz and Premium Outlets are very good for cheap designer stuff.

    HTH,

thanks brizzle we do epcot cp on xmas eve so hope to catch the illuminations then.we do mvmcp on the 19 dec and got fantasmic dinner booked for 18th. I also splashed out and bought tics for cirque du soleil on boxing night, but they dont know about it yet as they are xmas presents.
we will do the shopping during xmas week to avoid a busy park day and no doubt get the sales aswell.
Have you been to any coastal resorts we plan on doing one or two,not for the beach though, more for strolling around to see different areas.
You are lucky to have internet access ,I will miss this helpfull site while we are there.
Our party include 4 & 12 yr old

There's a 50 o/o off, (Thats 1/2 off everything in the store), Universal store in the Belz premium outlet near Sea World, off US4. Also a discount Disney store right across from the universal store. The Disney Store discounts vary, with a lot of discontinued items. At both of these stores also some of the same items as the parks, but cheaper!!They are great for soverners and nic-nacks for the villas.
