that this time 19 years ago we were in Orlando. We were there for 1 week and 1 week in Miami for our honeymoon. We 'arrived yesterday' and stayed at a Best Western hotel opposite Old Town and there was a MacDonalds a short walk away over some waste ground. How different it is now!
Yes we spent our honeymoon over there 21 years ago we arrived on 29th May and stayed at a motel called the Save Inn which is way down the 192 near St Cloud. We also stayed in a Best Western near Old Town for some of the time. It certainly is very different now!
We had 3 weeks there flew into Miami and it was tipping it down spent the first night there and drove up to Orlando. We intended to have 2 weeks in Orlando then drive back to Miami for the last week. Had brilliant weather while in Orlando, usual afternoon downpours but that was fine. We drove back to Miami for our last week but it was still tipping it down sooo we turned round and drove straight back to Orlando where the sun was shining. Must have been mad but we were much younger then!
