I believe so, yes. just check the hard to read writing on your charger to ensure it says 110-240V. Most do. In fact the vast majority of device chargers work on any voltage nowadays (phones, laptops, mp3 players etc)

    You may need an adapter.

It may be just as easy to buy a DS charger out there. Also if you have a car charger these are useful

Things may have changed over the years about the games console chargers. Some years ago, we bought gameboys for our two girls and had a trip the US, and we found that the gameboys did not charge sufficiently enough, they took over 24 hours to charge and would drain within an hour. Have not bought any in the last couple of years, so not sure. Laptops and mobiles don't seem to be a problem, although I do know straightners are not worth bringing.

If you do have a problem with the UK plug, it might be worth buying a US version and then you have no problems with the voltage.

My lad's DS charger is UK spec only! So we bought a cable so we can charge it from a computer using a USB cable.

I bought Nintendos for my grandchildren in December from Florida. Just bought a UK plug adapter and they work in UK.

We charged ours over there. Took a four plug extention, with a travel adaptor on the end, and charged all 4 at once on that

We bought a car charger which is handy for when they forget to charge them [msnwink]
Also we bought an american usb charger from walmart which has been very useful for ipods/sat nav/mobile phones - anything that can charge from the usb cable [msnsmile2]
