I think the nearest one to highgrove is at cagans crossing, china 2, never been though.

It is only about a 5 minute walk to Cagans crossing from Highgrove.

Great to know that HG is 5 mins walk from CG - so is it safe to stroll home from there to save me driving (beers)?

Yes it is safe to walk, i don't eat chinese food so sorry i cannot comment on it.

We have eaten in China 2 in Cagans Crossing and thought the food was fine.

We often get a take away from China 2 and can recommend it, the food is good and the delivery service is very fast.
